Professional Engineer

Pr Eng

Qualification: BEng / BSc (Eng)

For holders of an accredited four-year engineering degree. Requires demonstration of competence in solving complex engineering problems at an advanced level.

Professional Engineering Technologist

Pr Tech Eng

Qualification: B-Tech / BEngTech

For holders of an accredited Bachelor of Technology or Bachelor of Engineering Technology. Focuses on broadly-defined engineering technology problems.

Professional Certificated Engineer

Pr Cert Eng

Qualification: Government Certificate of Competency

For holders of recognised certificates of competency with relevant engineering experience in specific regulated fields.

Professional Engineering Technician

Pr Techni Eng

Qualification: National Diploma (ND)

For holders of an accredited National Diploma in engineering. Focuses on well-defined engineering problems within specific technical domains.
